JONAH - A VeggieTales Movie: home video release

A 2-week national radio promotion in February and March of 2003, to promote the home video release of Big Idea's first full-length feature, "Jonah." Partnered with Big Idea to clear this promotion on over 250 radio stations as well as major networks. Included on-air VHS and DVD giveaways.

Secrets of the Generous Life

A new 90-second daily radio feature based on the Tyndale House book of the same name by Gordon MacDonald. Adapted from his writing and voiced by MacDonald, the 13-week series (65 programs) was produced by Renaissance Communications in association with Generous Giving. Generous Giving is a privately-funded educational initiative of The Maclellan Foundation, launched in 2000 to help pastors, ministry leaders, professional advisors and givers of all income levels better understand the biblical concepts of generosity in order to release more resources for God’s Kingdom. Syndication as a 2-CD set in October 2002.

An Evening with Jars of Clay, September 2002

A special, pre-Fall tour concert at the Great Auditorium in Ocean Grove, NJ. Commissioned by the, Renaissance produced this September 20, 2002 event. Through promotion on both secular and Christian radio in the New York Metro area, attendance was nearly 3,000.

JONAH – A VeggieTales Movie: Red Carpet Premiere Party

A special, live 2-hour broadcast of the official premiere of feature film debut. The event was hosted at the Thoroughbred Theater in Franklin, TN on September 19, 2002. Hosted by Wayne Shepherd and Heather Segard, plus special Veggie co-host, Mike Nawrocki. Featuring appearances by Phil Vischer, Kurt Heinecke, various Christian artists, music from the original soundtrack, and Bob and Larry. Syndication via SRN and Moody satellites; also broadcast online at OnePlace.com.

Partnered with Big Idea and Artisan Entertainment to coordinate this promotion on nearly 300 radio stations, plus several major networks and coverage in Canada. Included large-scale giveaways, various local station events, and exclusive preview showings in 25 U.S. cities.

The American Worship Gathering – Live
An evening of music and messages, live from the American Worship Gathering at the Washington Monument on the National Mall in Washington D.C. May 25, 2002. The 3-hour broadcast included Jeff Deyo, Don Moen, Lenny LeBlanc, Louie Giglio, Pastor Rick Warren, and others. Syndication via the SRN satellite. The show was later re-edited as a 90-minute radio special for the July 4, 2002 holiday week.

A Night Of Encouragement

Alongside partnering organization EncourageAmerica, created and produced this all-star event held at Carnegie Hall, March 28, 2002. Nearly 3 hours of uplifting music and messages, the show was an Easter week celebration most specifically for the families and workers directly effected by the tragic events of September 11, 2001 in New York City. Featured performers included: Crystal Lewis, Phil Keaggy, Nicole C. Mullen, Anointed, Selah, Darwin Hobbs, and Jeff Carson. Speakers included: Steve Brown, Dr. George Wood, and others.

VeggieTales© - Larry Boy and the Angry Eyebrows

A 2-week national radio promotion in March of 2002, to promote the release of the first cartoon animation VeggieTales© release, "Larry Boy and the Angry Eyebrows." Partnered with Big Idea to create and implement this promotion on over 250 radio stations as well as major networks. Included on-air video and DVD giveaways.

A Matter of Style, January 2001
90-second daily feature, A Matter of Style, from noted author and speaker Cynthia Ulrich Tobias helping people identify, value and utilize their individual strengths and understand differing learning styles. Cynthia is founder and CEO of Apple St. (Applied Learning Styles). Distribution on CD from January through September, 2001.

3-2-1 Penguins! - The Cheating Scales of Bullamanka, July 2001
A 2-week national radio promotion in July of 2001, to promote the second 3-2-1 Penguins! video release, "The Cheating Scales of Bullamanka." Partnered with Big Idea, Inc. to create and implement this promotion on over 230 radio stations as well as several major networks. Promotion included on-air video giveaways and culminated with a grand prize vacation package for four to Sea World Adventure Park and Kennedy Space Center.

VeggieTales© - The Ultimate Silly Song Countdown, September 2001
A 2-week national radio promotion in September of 2001, to promote the release of the VeggieTales© video and cd "The Ultimate Silly Song Countdown." Partnered with Big Idea, Inc. to implement promotion whereby stations created their own ways to vote on listener's favorite Silly Songs of all time! 200 stations as well as several major networks participated.

Simpler Times - with Thomas Kinkade, 2000
A series of 21 (90-second) radio features, written and voiced by Thomas Kinkade. Adapted from his book, "Simpler Times" the features are filled with inspirational encouragement about how to live life in a more fulfilling way. Included open-ended interview answers for additional promotion. Distribution on CD.

3-2-1 Penguins! - The Launch!, November 2000
2-hour radio premiere party live from the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida., this special November radio event featured interview with co-creators Mike Nawrocki and Phil Vischer, and reactions to the premiere showing of this new video series from Big Idea. Hosted by Wayne Shepherd, Syndication via SRN on CD.

Thomas Kinkade - National Bible Week PSA's, November 2000
A series of eighteen, 30-second PSA's voiced by Kinkade, to promote the celebration of National Bible Week, Thanksgiving week. Featuring Kinkade's personal reflections and distributed on CD.

Celebration In The Rockies, 1999
Celebration In The Rockies, the Best of the 25th Annual Christian Artists Seminar. A live, Internet webcast of six nightly Christian concerts from the annual Christian Artists Seminar in Estes Park, Colorado. The webcasts were recorded and later produced into four 2-hour radio specials syndicated via SRN as well. Artists performing and interviewed at the event included Michael W. Smith, Amy Grant, Steven Curtis Chapman, Jars of Clay, Point of Grace, Sandi Patty, Jaci Velasquez, and many others.

Roaring Lamb's Conference, May 1998
Renaissance Communications and the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church teamed up to sponsor a Roaring Lamb's Conference on May 16th in New York City. The conference enabled believers to interact with noted persons representing various fields of work in mainstream culture including, journalism, advertising, music, fashion, and theater. Conference participants included author and Sports executive Bob Briner, recording artist Charlie Peacock, Lou Carlozo of the Chicago Tribune, Jody Hassett of CNN, Barbara Bates of Tommy Hilfiger, Ron Anderson of Bozell Kamstra Advertising Agency and actor Michael O'Leary.

Dads of Destiny, June 1998
Two-hour live Father's Day Radio Special entitled Dads of Destiny, June 20th, co-hosted by Ken Canfield, president of the National Center for Fathering and Steven Curtis Chapman, Sparrow recording artist and winner of 3 Grammy and 37 Dove Awards. Syndication via SRN, Moody Broadcasting Network, American Family Radio Network, and Family Life Radio. Cleared over 500 stations.

The first ever live, national radio broadcast of a Veggie Tales video premiere, November 21 from Chicago. Featured call-ins from radio stations hosting "premiere parties" with local Christian bookstores, as well as appearances from Bob and Larry themselves, and the Veggie Tales creators.
